ENTRIES: Rider, Owner, Trainer, and Horse must have appropriate USEF and USDF memberships to be eligible to compete (excluding opportunity classes) or pay non-member fees. Include copies of 2012 USEF/USDF membership cards for owner, rider (with JR/YR and AA designations), trainer, and horse; and RMDS cards if competing for RMDS year-end awards. Dover medal class 109 (2nd Level, Test 3) for USDF members with AA cards; winner must score 60% or better. Wyoming (not show management) requires out of state horses to have current negative Coggins tests and health certificates within 30 days. For each horse and rider combination, send separate entry form and check to cover entries and stabling, with second check for clean stall deposit. For non-competing horses, trainer must have filed entry form, paid office fee and non-competing horse fee. Make checks payable to CDEC and mail all to Show Secretary. Management reserves the right to combine, split, and cancel classes, cancel or add judges as entries warrant, and refuse any entry. Post entries accepted on a space-available basis and must pay $20 late entry fee. Waiting list will be maintained if show is oversubscribed.

OPPORTUNITY CLASSES: Please visit the USDF website for a FAQ on the Opportunity classes.


REFUNDS: Entries and stabling refunded (less office fee) if entry is withdrawn, in writing (includes e-mail and fax) before closing. No refunds after closing, even if show must be cancelled.


AWARDS: Ribbon and prize for first place, ribbons to 6th place. High score prizes. For high score ties, prizes will go to winners of coin toss; same for first place ties not broken by collective marks.


STABLING: Permanent, deluxe, indoor stalls with sliding doors; some with wooden floors; stallion stalls. Send stabling form with entries. Fee includes first bag of shavings for all stalls. Extra shavings available for purchase. Clean stall deposit for all but tack stalls. Please send separate check. Stalls available at noon Friday. If necessary, stalls may be reserved for Thursday and Sunday at same rate.


ARENAS: Show in standard 20x60 m indoor sand arena. Schooling in outdoor sand arena. Lungeing in round pens only. Schooling indoors Friday from noon to 5 p.m. and hand-walking indoors but outside the competition arena until 30 minutes before show starts in morning and for 30 minutes after show concludes each day except when tractor is present.


RIDE TIMES: Tentative ride times will be available August 1 and will be posted on this web site. Include e-mail address on entry to have entry confirmation and tentative ride times e-mailed. Official ride times will be posted at show office (south end of indoor arena) by noon Friday.


ACCOMODATIONS: See http://wyominghotels.org/cities/cheyenne RV hook-ups on west side of arena. Showers in barn restrooms.


DIRECTIONS: From I-25, take College Drive (exit 7) east 4 miles to LCCC on left; from I-80, take College Drive (exit 364) south 1 mile to LCCC on the right.


LOCAL RULES AND PRACTICES: When not stalled, horses must wear their bridle tags. NO DOGS ALLOWED; NO UNLICENSED DRIVERS MAY OPERATE ANY MOTORIZED VEHICLES ON GROUNDS. Tied scores that cannot be resolved by the collective marks will stand except as above for prizes. Farrier and veterinarian on call. Their names and phone numbers will be posted near show office and in barn area. Food available on grounds.
